The Damocles Sword of Poverty is cruel and unnecessary.

I'm sick and tired of this idiotic concept that we HAVE to have poverty and unemployment in order to make people productive, that people must have FEAR to motivate them to work or the entire economy, and society as a whole, will collapse. BS. Total BS.

We have an entire class of people who don't have to work a day in their lives, and yet have incredible ambition. The RICH. The 1%, or the 10%, or whatever. We are a competitive species. We don't like being idle, doing nothing with our lives. We ALL want to enrich our lives, and I don't mean money. Sure, there is a lot that money helps us do, that's why we all want money. But if money didn't exist, we'd still want to do those things that money currently helps us do. Right?

If you had the opportunity to live the rest of your life never having to work to earn a living, would you just sit around doing nothing for the rest of your life? Be honest. I think you'd go nuts real soon if you even tried to become totally idle.

People want to achieve goals, improve their lives, learn things, be appreciated by others, etc. No one Needs the Damocles Sword of Poverty, Unemployment, or Homelessness hanging over their heads to make them want to work and do things with their lives.

We can totally eliminate the Damocles Sword that dangles over us all. All we have to do is CHOOSE to get rid of it, as a whole people, as a society, as a species, we can just say Enough is Enough, it's time to Grow Up, and Be Better. The real issue is not how much money it costs to do things, that's BS. The real issue is how resources are Distributed in society.

The idea that resources are so limited that there MUST either be rich vs. poor, OR Everyone is poor, is total nonsense. We live on an incredibly abundant, verdant, world. That's like living in a basket of bread and saying that ONE guy should eat most of the bread, and the rest of us should only get crumbs, because there's not enough bread for Everyone to get enough to have an entire loaf to themselves.

No, what's actually going on is that everyone could have two and a half loaves of bread, more than they actually need, but instead we allow the One guy to eat most of it, just because he has most of the money.

Sort:

Unfortunately the mainstream media controls most of the people. And they will do anything to keep the illusion up.

But we have to spread the word day by day to wake these sleep walkers up.

We have to push personality development. I think during this process people will probably get on this train by themselves. At least that's the way I woke up.

Confronting people with..."Everything that you know is a lie, you have to wake up etc. etc." usually puts people in defence mode and they stop listening.

Yeah but theory is easy. What would be a good practical way reaching a lot of people with this message?

Just my two Hive-Cents.

Cheers! ✌
