Well... I woke up this morning to see that one of my long shot bets, Ravenscoin (RVN) has been spiking like crazy for some reason. Completely unexplained, with an overnight surge of 33 percent and a 4 week surge of 400 percent. Sounds a little suspicious...
Luckily, this is an altcoin that I keep on the Binance exchange as I want to have quick access to the market. I don't think this sort of price surge is at all sustainable without some real news behind it.... so I'm dumping and taking a hefty profit (I had bought it when it was even cheaper than the 4 week price...). I might buy back in when (... well, if...) it crashes back to reasonable levels. Probably will use the profit to fit other long shot bets.... or stick back into more trusted projects! It's a nice way to wake up though!
...speaking of nice, I'm starting to see the fruits of my Binance writing start to pay off... with a nice stream of BNB being earmarked for the work that I'm putting in... BNB for writing! It's a lot like STEEM for writing!
Anyway, short post again today... writing, practicing and gardening... not leaving so much time for STEEMing. Don't worry, I'll be back with more time later this week! Stay tuned for more random interest posts....
Edit : in the time I took to write this short post the price has been dropping steadily against BTC... I think I made the right choice at a lucky time... We'll see...

Not sure at the moment, I cashed out half at around 0.000016, I had bought in at around 1/5 of that.
At the moment, there seems to be a touch of Fomo keeping the price at around 0.0000145, I'm waiting for it to drop much further before recovering my stake. Well... I hope it drops back down!

I got out at the top, but it appears that BTC price rising and FOMO is keeping it from tanking... it keeps falling then stabilising... LOL!
