Greetings in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ. May peace be abundant in your life. Previously I introduced myself, my name Lisbeth, age 41, married, and have two daughters, I am from Indonesia. My husband is a servant of God. We Work and serve in drug abuse rehabilitation centers for 17 years.
**My first prayer request is ** for Indonesia, especially the increasing drug trafficking in our country. Every day there is always news about smuggling and drug trafficking. Not only in big cities but already in the villages. No longer recognize status and age.According to data from the National Narcotics Agency Indonesia the number of drug users in Indonesia in 2017 reached 6 million people, and the average age of 17-35 years. 27.32 percent are students (based on research results of University of Indonesia and BNN in 2016, possibly in my opinion increasing).Recently I heard the news on television smuggling Narcotics through the sea lane as much as 1. 6 tons of methampetamine from Taiwan praise God can be thwarted by the police. Indonesia is currently a drug emergency. Drugs in Indonesia are very difficult to eradicate. The obstacle is that Indonesia is an archipelagic country, consisting of large and small islands. Many small ports can be made by international syndicate to smuggle drugs into Indonesia. Meanwhile, the security forces that guard the sea are not comparable to those small ports.It also deals with law enforcement against drug suppliers that have not been fully implemented. Prisoners in Indonesian prisons, 2/3 are due to drug cases. The prisons in Indonesia are over capacity, because of the large number of drug offenders. There have been several riots in several prisons. The crime rate is also increasing. Murder, theft and crime in the streets. It's not hard to get drugs right now.

My second prayer request is: pray for our clients at drug rehabilitation center, currently 200 people. They undergo rehabilitation for nine months. the number of clients being rehabilitated each year is increasing. Please pray for them after they finish rehab not using drugs anymore. There are as many as 65 Christians. Pray for the officers, the leaders and also the families of the clients. May God change their hearts and they will give their lives to God. Pray also our service at this rehab center, to use God more powerful to express His love and power.
In fact my heart is very sad with the condition of our country, I always pray to God to save this nation's generation from destruction due to drug use. Every time we receive a new client, their family or parents always tell their sadness and distress, because their son or husband uses drugs.Their possessions are exhausted, careers destroyed, divorced, fired from work, imprisoned, psychologically impaired.
In fact, they often do violence and crime. I have always witnessed the tears of sadness and the traumatic feelings of parents and couples of drug users.
James 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
