Bill Hewlet was born on May 20, 1913 in Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA. His full name is William Redington Hewlett. Her father was Albion Walter Hewlett and worked as a doctor. Bill's mother was Louise Redington.
Bill Hewlett who was then a toddler then moved to California following his parents because his father was accepted to work at the Stanford University School of Medicine. But Bill's togetherness with his father did not last long because his father died of a tumor disease in 1925 when Bill Hewlett was 12 years old.
Finally Bill's mother then tried hard to raise Bill Hewlett. Since childhood Bill is very fond of mathematics and natural sciences. After graduating from Lowell High School, Bill continued his studies at Stanford University.
Bill Hewlet attended Stanford University in 1930 and graduated in 1934. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. Shortly afterwards he continued his studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and in 1936 he earned his Master's degree in electrical engineering.
Bill Hewlet later married Flora Lamson Hewlett in 1939. He then blessed five children named Elanor, Walter, James, William and Marry. Bill Hewlet's wife died in 1977. After the death of his wife, Bill Hewlett later married Rosemary Bradford Hewlett. Bill Hewlett himself died on 12 January 2001 in Palo Alto, California.

David Packard was born from an area called Pueblo, Colorado, USA. His father was named Sperry Packard a lawyer and his mother was named Ella Packard. David Packard attended Centtenial High School where, from his teens, he loved science, engineering, sports and leadership.
David Packard earned a B.A (Bachelor of Arts) degree after graduating from Stanford University in 1934. At Stanford he is also a sports athlete for football as well as basketball. On the campus he also met his wife Lucile Salter.
He had resumed his studies at the University of Colorado but soon he quit having accepted a job offer at the General Electric Company in New York City. David Packard then resumed his studies at Stanford University and successfully completed it in 1938 in Electrical Enginering. That same year, he later married Lucile Salter who later gave him four children named David, Nancy, Susan and Julie. David Packard died on 26 March 1996 in Stanford, California, United States.

Bill Hewlett and David Packard, both met while studying in the same class taught by Fred Terman at Stanford.
