I've been using HackMD for a while now when I need a markdown editor. It came in really handy when some of the HIVE front ends were unstable and I kept losing my drafts. I like the idea of building something on your own though!

I will take a look at that! I mainly needed something that I could always have in my dock and it grew from there :)
