Putin Doubles Down
The die has been cast with Putin’s Double Down on the conflict in Ukraine. Many see the referendums as a way to change the narrative, making Ukraine the aggressor while reserving the right to use nuclear weapons in defense of their sovereignty.
Putin says this is no bluff.
While profilers say Putin is a deviant, he has a rational mind and values his personal survival. Sociology experts say not to give into the bluff. We should continue to engage in hopes of starting a conversation.
There’s going to be a couple of weeks before the referendums are ratified and Russia claims 15% of Ukrainian territory as its own, even as battles in those regions are currently taking place. The historic Russian winter should start at that time with a dusting of snow. The new soldiers could then arrive on scene with everything quiet on the Eastern Front, and then…

It’s the next generation of global power. It’s the development of the human condition. Or it’s the end in nuclear missile exchange.
Maintaining international water-ways a priority for the United States and the international rule of law on maritime boundaries that are fair to all nations. And as mentioned on this blog before the advanced technology made available through semiconductor chip production. New facilities in the United States could help ease some friction with the Chinese Dragon. Yet so far the two sides continue a dialogue at high levels of government.
Turkey and India are two more countries that are making an impact on the development of international affairs. Turkey with its prime location controlling waterways for trade always a bridge between the Middle East and Europe. Also, in Russia’s sphere all having history. It’s the same with India with its massive population making it a distinctive Democracy while representing a different region on the planet’s surface. They too can make their voice heard that shares the distinctions between the two factions independent of the two while revealing in the knowledge of wisdom developed throughout the years.
Before the nuclear age countries might not have bothered to make statements about their opinions of a conflict in action. As seen through the lens of little dialogue on military actions having taken place during the years since the cease fire of World War 2. Not at this level, because this has become what we’ve all been prepared for with consumption of pro-western media.
Since the Cold War and James Bond it’s always been the diabolical Russian mercenary with a secret weapon. We made legends of winners of a hockey game in the Olympics. We followed up with Rocky going fist to fist with what seemed to be an indestructible Soviet machine. It’s always been at the least competitive.
Now we’re trying to get people to use Hydrogen Fuel Cell cars.
It’s bad for business like the Russians fleeing the draft in their country to perform clandestine missions behind enemy lines where loose lips sink ships with too much confidence gained in one sweeping action. This conflict could become nuclear war so we must take it seriously.
