Greatings to you fellow steemitians all over the world. As today mark the day of climbing mountain Arafa by the Muslim Pilgrimage to the Holy land of Mecca, and tomorrow is the day of altimate sacrifice, the killing of Rams, camel, cow, goat as the case may be or according to the pocket of individuals.
It is compustry on all adult muslims, man and woman either in mecca for pilgrimage or not, to kill animals such as mentioned above for sacrifice tomorrow as ordered by the Almighty God.
Many people all over the world didn't know the importance of this sacrifice or its significant on our life.
The beginning of this altimate sacrifice started from Prophet Abraham when him and his wife were unable to have issue/ child to their old age.jpg)
At that time he prayed varvently, he called on to God for a child and several years. Then when it got to a point, he asked God to bless him with a child and also promise to sacrifice child back to God if he was bless with a child..jpg)
Then, when the child grow his wife initially tried to convinced him not to fulfil the promise he made to Almighty God. But he knew he had no chioce but to fulfil the promise he initially made to God Almighty. So therefore, the day he chooses to sacrifice the child after all the preparation have been made and they embarked on the journey to the location of sacrifice so on getting there, Abraham received message from Almighty God to look at his right hand side and kill the Ram he find there, instead of his son Ismail. So joyful father and son returned home and ever since then the art of yearly sacrifice is made on all the true believers all over the world. I pray that as we witness this year may Almighty God make it possible for us to witness many more years on earth in peace.
