This few days have been quite hectic, I @jacobite and my team (@xpency, @anjiba and @fatherfaith) have worked acidiously for the success of the Abuja Mega Steem Workshop and MeetUp set to hold this Saturday.
The Workshop and MeetUp Will Hold on:

It will definitely be an awesome expirience seeing some of their Steemit Mentors and Role Models.
Event Budget and Plans
Here is an overview of some of the expenses we have incurred and some others we anticipate to incure.
- Renting of Hall.
- Renting of Sound system (speakers and microphone) and Projector.
- Buying of Light Refreshment.
- Hiring of MC (Master of Ceremony) and His Hotel Accomodation.
- Hotel Accomodation for some Team Members.
- Printings.
- Free Transportation for Some of our attendees.
Progress Thus Far
- Renting of Hall: We completed the payment of the hall 2 days ago.
The hall (IBI Training Center) is a 100 seating capacity hall, well furnished with ACs (Air-Conditions), Uninterruptable power supply, internet facility, writing board.
We will also be provided with Maximum Security.

Renting of Sound system (speakers and microphone) and Projector: Some deposit payments have been made for this.
We are renting the sound systems to enhance effective communication.
The projectors are also rented to help in illustrating what Our Guest-Speakers are going to be teaching.
Also some instrustion videos created by great steamians will be played using the projector.Buying of Light Refreshment: Still in process.
We had plan to have this meetup not on empty stomach.
There are preparations currently been made to cater for light refreshments during the meetup.Hiring of MC (Master of Ceremony) and His Hotel Accomodation: Still in process.
@mediahouseent will be "MCing" this event. He is a well-known Event Mc and steemian.
He will be coming all the way from Western Nigeria down to Abuja which is Northern Nigeria. (This is about 8 hours drive)
For this we will be taking care of the hotel accomodation while we give him a token as means of appreciation.

Hotel Accomodation for some Team Members: We have booked 3 hotel rooms were some of our team members living very far from the event venue will be accomodated.
Printings: Done
We have been able to do some banner, posters and shirt printings.
All this is done for the success of this Great event.

- Free Transportation for Some of our attendees: Still in process.
Abuja being the Federal Capital Teritory of Nigeria is quite big and expensive to live in.
We have made plans to provide free transportation in some strategic locations, so as to encourage people to attend the workshop and meetup.
