For my Steemian Friends in Uganda, we all look forward to tomorrow's Uganda Steemit Community Meet up proudly sponsored by Steemian @achimmertens - He has and is very supportive to the Uganda Steemit community. This meet up has been the most anticipated Steemit Event making rounds around +256.

But my focus is on the areas, issues and topics that I think should be discussed and addressed.

Steemit promotions that have been ongoing from the universities, streets, door to door to conferences. Every single day we add a new steemian to our WhatsApp group and this is encouraging so as a team we have decided to hold a meeting so we can mentor the new people most of them need support from the old steemians like we had suggested every old steemian should put at least 3 newbies on steem auto upvote service in our first voicechat so that they can get a 0.5 each on their posts always so this will encourage them to stay and build more friends .
I think @ireneblessing suggestion that every old Steemian should add atleast 3 newbies on Steem Auto Upvote Services is one that should be put into consideration and discussed in this upcoming meet up.
Some Old Steemians don't know about Steem Auto or haven't used it before. The meet up is an opportunity to enlighten Steemians about Steem Auto and how it can be used to better each other's experience on the Steemit Platform
@yohan2on also mentioned that:
We shall share with these newbies about the different Dapps that are under Steemit suchas Dtube, Dlive, Dsound Steepshot Zappl, utopian.io and encourage them to use them as well because you realise that many people carry different talents and abilities. Some can be very good at video shooting and others at audio recording so these will have to use dtube and dsound respectively.
For Steemians that are into different forms of Videography and Music like me, Steemit is a great platform to showcase our craft and increase our fan base as well as express our creativity.
This meet up is critical and essential because we as Steemians can get to discuss the various ways to use the Steemit platform:
- To Improve our talents
- To better our lives
- To Make a living
- To kick-start projects that will be beneficial to us
How to Write a Quality Introduction Post
At the meet up we shall be teaching the newbies how to write a quality introduction post.
A couple of Newbies still don't know how to use fonts like: Bold and Italics; Others need to be taught how to edit their post like quoting among others.
How to Be a Steemit Success
We have lately got an influx of new users who need mentor-ship and that's why we are organizing this meet-up.
Among the things we shall be discussing is how to be a steemit success. Everyone here on Steemit wants to succeed. And by succeed I mean make money. Many who joined got discouraged and backed out after making a couple of 0.01SBds from their posts. At this meet up, we plan to share ideas and enlighten each other on how to be a Steemit Success.
Another important area to be discussed is the Promotion of Steemit. We need to re-strategize on how to double our effort to spread the SteemitGospel in our Communities. Among my suggestions are that:
- We organize a University Steemit Promotion Tour
- We set up an office that will have different functions including promoting Steemit and helping people join the platform, educating people on Cryptocurrency and the Block-chain Technology. I believe this step will open many more doors.
- We organize different Steemit Projects in our community like:
Sport Activities e.g. Steemit Football Tournament; Steemit Chess Challenge; Steemit Volleyball Contest; etc
Community Service School Outreach;
Public Lectures on Cryptocurrency
There are many things and ways we can use Steemit to transform our lives and make the world a better place. Everyone should brainstorm ideas that we can promote Steemit and use the platform to better our lives.
