2nd Meet & Greet Event of STEEMPH.UAE | EAT and LEARN • BLOG and SHARE • STEEM-meet and GREET

Their 2nd and my 1st! Yesterday was the day that most UAE steemians have been waiting for, the meet and greet! It was so wonderful to see people’s faces in person rather than our often virtual meet ups through the steemit platform. UAE family is the first ever group of steemians under the umbrella of @steemph that is outside the Philippines, thanks to the core team particularly to @arrliinn for spearheading such amazing initiative. I would have other plans to spend this day, but I intentionally made myself available for this meet and greet as I wanted to know each member personally and share with one another the joy, challenges and tips we have in coping up with this fast growing and beautiful community.

The meet and greet was attended by quite a number of steemians, other members were tied up with their company and personal commitments making themselves unavailable for the event though we hope and look forward to see you guys on more meet ups to come!

I am a newbie so to say in this platform but I can see the potential of steemit to positively impact the lives of many people particularly Filipinos abroad and equally to other nationalities. I am extremely elated with the thought of one day, this community that we have here in UAE will grow exponentially, achieving our common goals for CHARITY and OUTREACH programs and of course, inspiring everyone to get into writing and expressing themselves with wide array of topics they want to work on.

We started by introducing each other and had our sumptuous meal afterwards while waiting for others to come. The gathering was an intimate one, very interactive and fun! Core leaders facilitated the discussions while @kennroy and @arrliinn did presentations that will truly help grow the community and how every steemian can improve themselves in this platform. Topics on matters like encashment, power up, upvoting, community engagement and curation were also tackled.

Taking great inputs and insights from @hiroyamagishi and @monkeypattycake was a definite YES! Their video presentations were both informative and truly guided each of us in giving light to such gray areas about the platform.

What made the gathering so light and very productive, was the exchange of thoughts and ideas on things that really matters to maintain presence in the platform and how to avoid backsliding. At the end of the day steemit ought to bring out the best in us, more than the monetary reward we can get from it. We ended the night with unlimited photo sessions, karaoke and fun fun fun and more fun moments.

The most important part of the meet and greet was getting the commitment of everyone to take @steemph.uae a step forward, increase its visibility in the platform and carry our ultimate goals! AS I ALWAYS SAY AND CLAIM, WE WILL GROW EXPONENTIALLY!!!

Keep on steeming, keep on blogging and keep on spreading the word! Long way to go steemph.uae ... but we can do this! 💪🏻 To date, I would want to thank @bayanihan and @surpassinggoogle for all your endless support to my blogs and fellow steemians in our community here in UAE! More power to you guys!
