This is most likely my typical log in ritual:
- check my new followers, if any
- check my blogs for new votes or comments numbers
- check my replies '' '' '' '' '' '' ''
- check my comments '' '' '' '' '' '' ''
- check the home feed
- check the new feed
- check the active, promoted, hot or trending (what is the difference between them two, b.t.w.?) feeds in no particular order
See, I have plenty of steps and possibilities to stall or stop at before even getting at the promoted list. Most of times I'll get hook by something in the feed (home) of the people that I follow like I just did here & now. That's just me, but for the moment promoted material is not my viewing priority.
