@amr008 That part is interesting since the same thing happens with us "We are called Children of God", we choose to follow Jesus or not, but if we choose YES we immediately enter into God's plans where we find many promises for us as well as a great mission for the rest of us mortals!

Yes, being called children of God gives us both identity and assignment. Saying yes pulls us into a story bigger than us, with promises that steady our steps and a mission that shows up in daily choices. Which promise do you hold onto most when the mission feels heavy?
@amr008 I personally find many promises for myself, for example: "In the world you will have tribulation, but in me you will have peace" or "I have overcome the world." I can find multitudes of promises in which God encourages me to move forward!
Yes, those words are anchors. “I have overcome the world” helps me live from victory, not chase it, and “in me you have peace” calms my heart when the noise gets loud. Which promise has carried you most this week, and how do you keep it in front of you when trouble hits?
