School financial education? Say yes

in #proofofbrain3 years ago

Capitalist society is naturally organized around money, which is why our children's education is also expected to have very realistic monetary standards. Encourage children to go to school from an early age to succeed in school, so that they can have a good job and allow them a dignified survival. However, what seems to be of little benefit is to assume that there is only one path, and they make us feel that we must obey our personal interests in order to follow a path of success. We don't teach our children the benefits of making money and looking at money in a positive way, but we constantly warn them of the danger of not having enough money in the end. It is the path of fear, the fear of unemployment, the fear of not paying attention to society, which leads parents to teach their children to "follow the money".

Paradoxically, although the types and methods of education are aimed at making children financially successful, the school does not formally conduct financial education. What remains for parents is the role of teaching their children to manage their own money. Not only do parents often not receive special training on the subject (and need not do so), but they also do not have time to think about complex issues related to money. This topic is boring and full of emotion. Yes, the way we see money is closely related to our education, our emotions, the values of the society in which we operate and ourselves. Therefore, it is difficult to consider personal financial management objectively and rationally, and the school should play a fundamental role in this regard.

Who agrees to conduct financial education at school? Who thinks that if they had received an early financial education, they could have made a better choice?
See you soon
