My small Web server

Today I'm not writing about art.

Only 8.33 kb.
This seems to be the smallest web server I've ever seen.
And amazingly, it was created for me by AI. Although, maybe that's not entirely correct. I created it using AI. Yes, that's exactly the wording. Although I don't think it was created by me and only me.

I once had a small web server that I found somewhere, I don't remember where. But it only doesn't work on the old WinXP.

But right now, in order to make a simple project in HTML, I needed something so small and easy to configure. When I understand what and where I can configure for myself.

I searched for a long time for something suitable, free and virus-free. But I didn't find anything suitable.

And then I thought, "What if I use AI?".

And you know what? I succeeded.
I managed to add some security measures. Compile. Run. Figure out what changes I want to make to the config.

Since this software is written "independently", some companies define it as a "trojan". But... in reality, everything is clean.

This doesn't mean everything is 100% safe. But I'm running it in a virtual machine.

And what's interesting is that I was able to get my own very tiny server up and running in 30 minutes. Even though I'm not a programmer.

I imagine how long it would take me to learn and write such code on my own without help.

Sort:

Of course, I did this exclusively for myself.

To create it, I used the usual Google AI

Funny. Programming with Google.

Yes, I understand that my conversations with my assistant may be recorded, but this is not such confidential information.

I used to spend a lot of time searching for the right programs. Now I just create my own.

But that didn't make me a "programmer."

It's a similar situation with drawing.

If a person generated an image, that does not make them an true artist.

But I see how much everything has become simpler. Previously, you had to study for six months or more to do this.

Oh brave new world. ))

I was really impressed today. Maybe next time I'll create something more complex than a console program.

I also liked how you can use AI to create and edit scripts.

Perhaps for other non-specialists, image generation also looks like magic.

By the way, it's not too late to have a cup of tea.

Although it's one o'clock in the morning on my watch.
