RE: Greedy Yellow Bird Contest (Round Four)

Comment #(-529)1/2.

For those who don't know, the square root of negative one is "i" (or "j" if you prefer electrical engineering to mathematics), which is an imaginary number.

As such, the square root of negative 529 is 23i, which is also an imaginary number.

Question for @mineopoly, are imaginary numbers valid, or does that makes this an imaginary comment?

Thanks for all the pizza. Proofofbrain is running really slow for me lately, I have so much to say but can't post!!

@buffalobison! I sent you a slice of $PIZZA on behalf of @mineopoly.

The rules never state :"only real numbers".
Imaginary numbers are numbers. I don't see how The number given to a comment can determine if the whole comment is imaginary or not imaginary.

But just in the case an imaginary number makes a comment an imaginary comment we need to think about this question:

If this imaginary comment counts then do all imaginary comments count?

For purposes of this contest a comment can only be counted if it can be verified on the blockchain.
So if an imaginary comment can be verified on the blockchain then it can be included in the count.

The paradox here is that as soon as the comment is verified it is no longer an imaginary comment but a real comment regardless of the number it has been assigned by the author. The comment will be counted in order of appearance of valid comments.

On a side note, authors are not confined to the use of Arabic numerals. You are free to use any one of the numeral systems included in this article https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_numeral_systems

@trostparadox.pob, you've been given LUV from @mineopoly.

Check the LUV in your H-E wallet. (5/10)

You must have been busy in the start of this week but I guess it is still hump day in the US. This has been an interesting game @trostparadox.pob and we are close to the finish. More individual contestants participated because users called their friends to fill in the gaps. I didn't interfere much so it took three days to get close to the finish... but we are not finished yet.
