It will probably always be like that tbh. I don’t really think it’s a con either, more just it is the reality when dealing with people on a social chain.

Generally speaking I think it’s a bad idea to take years making a decision. I would recommend not doing that again. I’m not trying to be pretentious or tell you what to do, I’m just telling you what I would tell anyone else; to me pushing back and being honest when I don’t agree with something is showing respect.

LOL! I honestly can’t say anything about you leaving me a long comment. I have a bad (or good) habit, depending on how the person feels about long comments, of leaving long comments. It’s one reason I like comment curation tbh.

I should have not said bad debt. People are getting hung up on “bad” and I just meant a liability where we had not paid you but we should have. To me that’s a bad debt, money you should have received a long time ago but had not collected. Like you literally are talking about how you are going to space out the sells so it doesn’t impact things as much. Well that’s not your problem, that’s our problem. You have every right to sell it instantly. You don’t want to sell it instantly cause you are affectionate for this chain. I get it, that’s what this proposal made me realize, I cannot be unbiased when I make decisions or upvote proposals. But that is my problem and that is why I changed my comment, how can I advocate for anything right now when my judgment is being obscured by bias that I KNOW exists? I don’t have the answer to that question so it is what it is.
I think you should get paid for the work in the past and I think you should make a new proposal for 2026-2027, it should be forward looking. I see no problem with that.
