I guess everyone who ever built on Hive and represented Hive should get paid as well. I thought Hive was a community effort, but now that effort can be rewarded with DHF funds. I understand when Hotels, food and flights are paid, but this is 1250 HBD a month salary for 6 years. Even though there is a lot done on Hive in 6 years, Hive is in quite a bad shape.

Fair take! I was initially attempting to reply to every comment from oldest to newest, but I've given up on that now to try to make sure that all negative or mixed comments are directly responded to first since they're the only feedback mechanism someone who isn't making a supporting vote has.
I understand this to mean that you're saying that none of the tasks completed feel like they're worth any recompense, and while I don't agree with that, I'm glad you're open to coming here and expressing it. The matter of my making a proposal and discussing it publicly began before the Summer of 2023, if you can believe it! And even with my last post in September, I brought it up again, and a large majority of people both commenting or speaking with me on and off chain since then were fairly clear that they would rather place partial support on things already completed than create a salary or forward looking amount because they're not thrilled with that being the DHF defacto already. One thing I can say is spending years trying to complete as many listings etc. as possible while making as many exploratory forays into what the Hive populace wanted while we are all going through the worst markets of all time has made this always on the table and known outcome much, much scarier to everyone, and a lot of what's been bubbling up about the ecosystem as a whole has a singular pressure point outlet here.
I think where we can both agree is that people are afraid for Hive specifically, which is greatly compounded by how terrified people are of the wider crypto market. Some of the past behaviours of the DHF are being specifically projected on to this proposal, and plenty of comments are much like reviews on Yelp: you're a great percentage more likely to leave a negative comment because it's important to feel heard about a valid point. It's human nature to want to express frustration and concern and once someone breaks the ice, it's a lot easier to hop in. I would prefer this kind of super uncomfortable public forum to anything else, regardless. I also sense that for some people, because the picture on the proposal is of speaking stuff versus administrative tasks, there might be some thoughts that I'd like to go do some weird crypto egirl stuff and do funsies travel while Hive is on fire, which is categorically incorrect, but I fully get why that idea would make anyone feel horrible!
BT is letting you down. No one benefits more than them for your work, and I'd swap a rally car for you any day of the week. I have zero concerns for Hive because of Alt seasons, or any of that BS. Hive has a use case that is far more valuable than it can monetize because BT and others are sucking the life out of it. My only concern is that avarice.
