Already the process leading to the point where it is now, has been a result of decentralised self-governance.

One could argue that with Steemit, Inc.'s 80% Ninja Mined Stake that things have never been decentralized in terms of administration. This has changed with their selling off of their stake over time; which is now estimated to be in the 20% range.

    All depends on where to put the starting point and what to observe. I was rather focussing on the process of creating subsequent working groups, finding a way dealing with system complexity.
