The Joy of Little Fluffy Clouds

Some call it active detachment. Not aloofness. Rather, it’s a laid back understanding that the universe is a complex system that our limited nervous system cannot fully grasp. When you adjust the scope and breadth of information that you receive then new vistas open up. The doors of perception creak open. Then all of a sudden you see everything with a new clear and perceptive eye. It’s foolish for me to try to describe such a highly personal experience. Imagine trying to explain the act of coitus to someone who has never had the experience. In-possible! Then why do we keep on trying?

Unfortunately, you cannot remain in an expanded state. You need to step away from strawberry fields and back to the world of frozen structures. Biological integrity is essential for consciousness. With a sigh and a wave you must bid farewell to the Garden of Eden.

The fruit of knowledge. It alters your mind and helps you see beyond the official reality designed by whatever God On Duty is available. That’s right. The original sin was the use of mind altering substances. The Fall. The cops in heaven threw the book at humanity, and here we are.

A stoned monkey responsible for civilization? Entirely possible. Primates like to bite, suck, and nibble whatever looks tasty. Surely, we knew about the mushrooms as we crossed the savannas and forests. The effects would’ve elevated the geometric and abstract thinking of the eater. What if the entirety of human consciousness is just a plan by fungi to get us to build spaceships so they can go back home to outer space?

And everything looks beautiful
Ahh
Everything so lovely
Oooo
The grace of moving our hands
The road twisting and turning
Undulating
The beat
Summer
Wow dude
The heat
Fingers intertwined
Legs entangled
In all the coiling tendrils of experience

Wonderful last stanza. And I came here because I love that song. It's a classic.

Thanks! This song is an electronic masterpiece.
