I'm another person who barely remembers the story. Somehow it is completely overshadowed by the controversy as to whether Lewis Carroll was stoned out of his mind when he wrote it. If you look at the imagery, it is apparent that he certainly was familiar with drug trips and paraphernalia. It is no wonder that so many people believe the rumors.
