Interesting article but I think you are missing the fact that computer screens are stressful to read from, compared to a printed magazine or book. People don't want to spend a long time reading text off a computer screen, laptop, tablet etc. They want and expect the most important information in the least time consuming manner.

Sort:  

I could have written the above article by adding 5 images to it. Would it make it less time consuming? You would require more scrolling and your thought process would be more distracted by the photos leading to longer times for the reader.
