I don’t think you can totally heal from any trauma, but you can lessen its impact on you, and that trajectory helps you find other trajectory, like a tree, at first it will grow straight, that can be the first step, the hard part, like learning mma, or searching for a cure for an illness, but then you will meet friends, learn things, unlearn fears that clouded your judgement and vision on some other things, and from there you can maybe decide to take up new hobbys, new studies, ‘e careers paths, and thus the tree branches out, and compared to the initial situation where your goals were directly linked to the trauma, so much more things happened and helped you grow, so that trauma becomes way smaller and thus defines you less.
