RE: I was Just Challenged to a Charity Game on Steemit... and probably won't win any friends with this response :)

I'm sorry if I offended you. I didn't mean what it could look like coercion or intimidation. I did not mean to say that you are not doing anything good. I've been watching your work, and admire her. I'm surprised it caused you such outrage. It's a game. To do a good thing. What could be easier? To feed a stray dog, to buy a hamburger to a homeless guy to do their work for free to one person, make someone smile. Anyone can do it. You are confusing cause and effect. View it is now filled with STEEMIT why people come here? Attracting new users, with thoughts of easy money for simple work (story about yourself, a couple of lines of text we get those who are earning the money goes. Whether they will make STEEMIT reliable? The same people that will come in STEEMIT to help others, with thoughts on charity, they will stay with the project for a long time. Money for them is not important in life. I want to show them that STEEMIT can become for them a platform where they can find like-minded people

Sort:

Don't worry, I'm certainly not outraged. I just don't wish to participate in what you're doing. If you enjoy that sort of charity work, then by all means, do it for your own satisfaction but it's not something that I agree with and I prefer that others not try to coerce me into playing their games without my consent. That's all. I'm sure that's reasonable enough, right? :)

More than reasonable.

Thanks, I receive from it huge pleasure! My heart hurts when I see those who need help, before I was not able to help them, the teacher's salary is not so high in my country. STEEMIT gave me the opportunity to help those who need my help. And I'm happy. To each his own, you're right. Don't get me wrong. I think only of good. And again, if I hadn't called you, you would not have earned the money for your post.. I'm sure that's reasonable enough, right? Thank you. :)

Yes, indeed. Very reasonable. Good luck with your projects!

I see STEEMIT in the future, in addition to the above as one of the biggest platforms to raise funds for charity. In the world there are hundreds of large charitable organizations : Feed the Children, Music For Relief, Partners In Health, American Cancer Society, Stichting INGKA Foundation. As well as thousands of small. Animal shelters, groups social assistance, targeted assistance, aid to the homeless, private fees. In charity a part of hundreds of millions of people in the world.

And other Crowdfunding.

But there are all these sites one big drawback, microtransactions between the participants of these sites is ill-conceived, it's uncomfortable.

Microtransactions between users in STEEMIT are part of the whole system. Therefore, it can really compete with Kickstarter with their 140 million dollars a year.

To attract charity tried and Facebook, but again, micro-transactions between participants of these sites is ill-conceived, it's uncomfortable. STEEMIT will leave behind him.

The parish charities in STEEMIT will bring millions of people.
Also, the device STEEM POWER will cause the funds not to withdraw funds and leave them in the account. And it is possible to support users to directly UPVOTE their requests for help via hashtags. The funds also may decide to transfer part of their funds in STEEM POWER, to support the users directly when they apply through hashtags.

Unfortunately my initiative to attract charities and philanthropy development at STEEMIT are not supported. People do not understand that the parish charity/crowdfunding organizations on STEEMIT. If they declare it officially. Will force millions of people to come to STEEMIT

FORCING anybody to do ANYTHING is not honorable...

I have nothing against that would change that. For me, the main idea is to show people that STEEMIT can do amazing good things together. Let's change the rules of the game, I created them as I felt right. You think otherwise, and I can hear you. We're a community, we can discuss it. Tell me how, I do not have this experience. The idea of a marathon because good? Let's fill STEEMIT kindness and love. Let's keep the main thing:

  1. Do a good deed!
  2. Tell us about it on STEEMIT use hashtag #heartgoodnesschallenge.
  3. Send your video challenge to any three users.

I'm not looking for fame, I want to do good. Do NOT need to abandon their intentions. Fix my mistakes. Let's run this marathon together.

The reason why you dont get a lot of supports, is not because of the message. It's HOW you DELIVER the message. It came of as an attack. If you want to invite people to give back to the sociaty, invite EVERYONE. And without any terms.

Your heart is in the right place young jedi... but you still have some maturing to do.

Excuse me, I thought only about the good. I watched a lot of challenge on YouTube. And they all work on this principle. I'm not a marketer. I am an ordinary teacher.

I am very sad that all you see only 4 the point of my conversion. Although he is there symbolically. I didn't think someone would be able to refuse. Because to do good is so simple and is so nice. The main thing that I wanted to say and what message to convey:

  1. Do a good deed!
  2. Contact STEEMIT use the hashtag #heartgoodnesschallenge.
  3. Send your video call by any three users.

We have shown thousands of people here that STEEMIT is an opportunity to do good together! Common efforts.

I just gotta ask, am i the only one whos noticing that "jenna" loses her ability to write in fluent english in post comments.

I spend many hours to prepare their posts, you're right. In the forum I use the program the translator, because nobody is going to wait for my answers too long.
