You can use ESTM to gift, boost, and sponsor.
Sponsor keeps your post pinned toward the top so that more people using Esteem might see it. I just sponsored the Shadow Contest post for 3 days. I hope seeing it reminds people to enter!
Boost gets you an upvote from Esteem., but only on a post that have not yet received an Esteem vote. It comes in handy when you post twice in one day and Esteem has only voted on the first post.
Or you can hold your ESTM for the day when Hive has SMTs you might be happy that you hold a bunch of them.
The little dot menu up in the top right corner of each of your posts gives you the choices.
I think I will use some of my ESTM to use boost. I have never used my ESTM
Spending it is a good thing! When it is actively used it gains value!
