Today, I would like to introduce you to the most interesting Blockchain project for 2018! It is called QuarkChain.
QuarkChain is the latest multi-layer, peer-to-peer Blockchain that has a very ambitious goal to create a highly scalable Blockchain which can support 1,000,000 transactions per second using double layer system. Shards are in the first layer while a root chain is in the second layer. To provide a robust blockchain for the mainstream, Quark is designed with the scalability, decentralization, and security in mind.
Crypto space is growing rapidly as more and more people are becoming interested in cryptocurrecny. However, the old blockchain technology like Ethereum cannot fullfill the needs of the crowd at all when it comes to the needs of high speed transactions. For example, a blochain game called "CryptoKitties" clogged the Ethereum network and caused concerns among the crypto communities. The ultimate goal of Quarkchain is to solve such issues and help build the best blockchain technology to be used by the mainstreams.
To make it easy for the users, QuarkChain will develop a SmartWallet which will make it possible to access all addresses owned by the user in any shard via a single private key.
QuarkChain also makes it easy for Dapp developers to switch their Dapps to QuarkChain as it's EVM compatible. This will cause the value of QKC to amazingly increase.

The QuarkChain tokens (QKC) are ERC-20 token on the Ethereum network and will be swapped to native QuakChain coin on the Mainnet launches in Q4 2018. More QKC will be produced in the future by mining.

Qi Zhou is Founder and CEO of QuarkChain. He has software engineering experience with the likes of Google, Facebook, and EMC, where he developed sharding and clustering solutions. Qi holds a PhD from Georgia Tech in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
Yaodong Yang is a Research Scientist with the QuarkChain ICO. He is the Cofounder of Demo++, a startup incubator. He is also a Prof. at Xi’an Jiaotong University and holds a PhD in Engineering from Virginia Tech.
