We should be loving each other every single day of our lives and I do think that that's the case in most families. I also think that father's day is a great way to show your feelings a little bit more, since many people don't tell each other often how happy they are to have them in their life. I think it's great, but also agree that we shouldn't forget about the other 364 days :)
