Activists demanded immediate arrest and arrest of attackers on APM Suhel, Joint Convener of Jagannath University unit of Bangladesh General Student Rights Protection Association, a movement against the quota.

Rashed Khan, joint convener of the central committee, said, "On 16 May, I threatened to kill Nurul Haque and me. After that, we did not take our GD to the Shahbagh Police Station. If we were given security to the leaders in the movement on our GD, then terrorists could not dare to attack Suhail. '
Rashid said that the attack was carried out to kill Suhail, but the identity of the attackers was not found yet, the administration of the police and the Jagannath University did not take any action yet. If the attackers are not arrested quickly, they will again go to the movement, he said.
On 23 May afternoon, students of Jagannath University's English Department APM Suhel were attacked in front of the Sundarbans courier service beside the Bangla Bazar Government Girls School. From there, he was admitted to Asghar Ali Hospital, Dhupkhola. Later, he was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital. Suhel is still undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
Suhail sat in a wheelchair and participated in the press conference. There he said, 'Call me on that day,' Quota movements are good money, so do Kamaiichisa. Give us something too. "Shahrukh Alam Sobhan has said that he has threw me throat with a thump. He beat me with a rod, cut a lip with a knife. "Suhail said he knew some of the attackers. Among them, Shahrukh Alam Sobhan, SK Miraj, Minun Mahfuz and Babu Jagannath University students. Suhail said that the attack was done to kill him. He is suffering from insecurity.
At the press conference Suhel's mother, Jamila Begum, asked the Prime Minister to investigate the attack on her son. He said, his son made a logical movement. Did not do anything wrong He said to provide security to the students associated with the Kota movement.
The convener of the Bangladesh General Student Rights Protection Conference urged the arresters of Hasan Al Mamun Suhel and demanded justice. He also told Suhel to pay the damages and he also used to give compensation.
Mamun said, issuing the declaration of quota cancellation, even after 46 days the notification has not been issued yet. If he does not issue a quick notification then he again threatens the movement.
