I like the idea of combining the action photograph of being in flight, with Coolidge's wise words about the value of persistence.
Forgive me if I can't resist Samuel Beckett's existentially depressing comeback.
Beckett is often quoted as saying something similarly positive about human endeavor, namely, his quote:
"Fail Better," with it's implication of working hard, failing, and trying again.
But after those words, Beckett wrote:
"Fail again. Better again. Or better worse. Fail worse again. Still worse again. Till sick for good. Throw up for good."
He was a rogue that Samuel Beckett, always reminding us we're for the grave.
Still, knowing that our plane will land is surely a wake-up call to make our precious moments of flight count for something! :)
