The new system will be fully introduced on the 1st of May. Until then the upvotes for Tier 1 and Tier 2 still count. That is why we decided to put everything in one post.
You are actually on T3 on the bot and this is the correct Tier for you right now. Some little mistakes happen while writing a post unfortunately.
Right now you are upvoting all Qurators posts and that gives you Tier 2 + 100SP delegation = T3.
In the new system the upvotes will be replaced by one fee for a whole month that will secure your spot on T2 (if this is the one you choose). So nothing changes. The saved vote you can use as you like :)
In case you wish not to subscribe for Tier 2 with the 2 Steem by the 1st of May, you will drop to Tier 1.
So the 100SP delegation also means nothing if I don't pay a monthly STEEM fee?
With your 100SP delegation, you will still be in Tier 1 for as long as the delegation is active.
If you are someone who posts a lot then the subscription will be a good investment, if you maybe post only once or twice a week then I would just stick to the delegation.
lol - I will come back each week to see if I can decipher what you are saying. I'm very happy to have your votes and I hope that will continue. I have you on my steemdunk, and think you are telling me I do not need to do that anymore as of 5/1. I can't see myself remembering to send you steem each month, so I think I need to delegate - but how much? idk. Hang is there and keep explaining. I am slow but I usually catch on in the end.

You are delegating now 100 SP, so if you forget to send the fee (like now if someone forgets to upvote) you will be on Tier 1. The delegations and subscription will still add up.
If you would like to be on T2 and forget the monthly fees, you can delegate 200 SP.
I'm not on discord, and I'm not delegating to you now as far as I know. I am voting 7X a week and that's all. I use steemdunk and then check each Saturday to make sure I will have 7+ votes.
Unless I am missing something, I think you will get a big drop when everyone takes you off their auto-voting. I can only vote for 20 people and I have a list of people I want to support that I can't fit on my steemdunk. If I delegate to you and do not need to vote - I will stop voting. I know you will miss my 2 cents!
This whole thing bothers me from the point of view that no whales are supporting this project and few dolphins. I seriously think those 300 people would be happier if all the rest of us would just quit posting entirely.

Yes we are aware that the upvotes on posts will drop and it is all taken under consideration. For members like yourself, you will have the vote free to use on your friends for example. The subscription is supposed to be an easier way to keep track on which Tier on are on. A lot of members vote manually and it does happen they miss the upvote and the higher Tier that way.
The current delegation option will not change, and yes - delegators do not have to upvote. It is another option to stay on T2 (or any other Tier)
I guess Qurator is not attractive enough for whales :)
I feel like contacting all of them about this and I have not talked to many of them before. What do they want to support here if not an initiative like this one? We already know they don't like to look at minnow posts themselves for the most part. But here is a way to support without having to bother with looking.
