Most likely because of the node issues we have been having. Remember though that upvotes can only be 24 hours apart.
I post daily at around 7:15 AM ET. You can check that the difference in time between my today's post, my yesterday's post and my the day before yesterday's post is around 24 hours each.
Then it is most likely the node issue that steemit is having lately. We are trying our best to sort it out and make our upvotes faster/more consistent.
