What is Qurator?

There is a membership fee of 4 Steem (not SBD).
- They actually check to see if you produce quality content. If not, your membership will be rejected.
- You can sign up a friend.
  - Must be at least 2 weeks old and have done 10 posts.
5 Quirites (members) are featured in their daily post.
2 Quirites are resteemed each day.
As a member you will receive one upvote / day.
- The value of the upvote depends on what tier you are. (Explained below)
  - You will receive additional upvotes from those who follow the Qurator curation trail on SteemAuto.
Competitions:
- Weekly Photography (Fridays)
- Weekly Food (Tuesdays)
- Bi-weekly anything goes (Thursdays)
Pay for vote bot called Qustodian. (Members only)
- Can purchase upvote once per day.
  Pays out 2.65 times the SBD you send in. (0.5 recommended)
  - Delegate to the bot.
    Receive 90% payout of bot earnings.

This gets you upvotes for life as long as you are in good standings.
- New member bonus = Tier 2 voting for one month.
  - Upvote value = $0.10
Assuming you post daily
- 30 * $0.10 = $3.00
  - At today's market price this will get you:
    (Calculated using http://steem.supply/rewards )
    1.13 SBD
    0.87 Steem Power
    Total USD: 2.40 USD
Profit / Loss = Income - Expense
- $2.40 - $5.216 = $2.816 loss so far.

At the end of month 1 you will revert to Tier 0 if you don't take additional actions.

A Tier 0 vote is worth $0.01
- Which gets you back Total USD: 0.01 USD
  Or Total USD: 0.30 USD for a 30 day month.
  - It will take about 9.3867 months before you show a profit.
    But remember, at that point all upvotes are pure profit.

You have the option to easily obtain Tier 1 payouts.
Let's assume your upvote is worth <$0.03.

If you upvote @Qurator on their daily posts,

this will allow you to get Tier 1 payouts.
A Tier 1 vote is worth $0.05 which is actually $0.04 USD today.
- 30 * $0.05 = $1.50
  - Returning you Total USD: 1.20 USD
  - Meaning it will take you 2.3467 months to start turning a profit.
    plus the original month you got the bonus...
    But remember, at that point all upvotes are pure profit.
For an investment to show a profit in 3.3467 months is absolutely a good investment.

According to SteemNow upvote calculator it currently takes about 559 Steem Power to have a $0.05 upvote.

Trial run #1 - I'm looking at buying in for 2 Steem into Tier 2

My Steem Power is currently at 129.811 + 34.929 leased delegation for about 164.74 total.
- My upvote is worth $0.01.
Let's say I buy in Tier 2 for 2 Steem * $1.304 USD = $2.609
- I am autovoting which gives me Tier 1
  - Tier 2 + 1 = Tier 3
    It's cumulative...
Earning me an extra $0.11 / vote x 30 = $3.30 / month.
- Which = 1.24 SBD and 0.95 SP
  - Total USD value $2.64 income
    minus $2.609 expense
    = $0.031 USD income

Not a lot, but I heard a very wise man once said

a penny earned
is a penny earned...

If I powered up, my upvote wouldn't be worth hardly any more.

This way I earn extra reputation and a bit of income.
