Like mangoes, cotton fruit makes one drool if they have an experience eating the fruit. This fruit is sour on the outside but the pulp is sweet. I often just skin it a little bit and leave some of the outer cover and the seeds. Just like in the picture below. I dip it in a little bit of salt and for awhile my facial expression would be messed up because it is sour. I think not everyone knows this fruit because this is native to the tropics just like the Philippines.
Didn't knew about that one! But already on my things-to-taste list!
