A lot of new things are going on with me and my wife life, but for her 23rd birthday i decided to get her a 1974 Dodge Charger with the 318 LA small block to restore with me! now most people would say oh wow another guy using her birthday as an excuse to get another toy. well, my wife @tstarnes is a completely different person. she gave up her racing life and car and dream to come live with me in Washington and start a family, and yes SHE is the gear head in the family! 
Well, we went to go pick it up in Bremerton, WA and it wasn't running at the time. With a new battery, some fresh gas and a screwdriver to bypass the solenoid we were off to the races! she's pretty rough in some spots but thats what a restoration project is right!? she told me straight to my face (when she was 6 months pregnant) i don't want to be that couple that has a kid and their life gets boring! i don't want to sit in the house all day with a newborn and just tend to her every need! so what do we do now? wait for the baby to go to sleep, and work on the Charger!
Recently we just did a complete tune up. New oil, dropped the gas tank and completely emptied it from all bad gas, new spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap, rotor, oil change and the mechanical stuff seems to work pretty great now. The restoration difficulty part will come next. RUST! The main rust spots right now are in the trunk so thats a positive!
