I refused to vote for Kamala, because (among a host of other reasons) I assessed a high probability she and certain leaders in Europe would drag us into a war with Russia. I refused to vote for Trump because (again among a host of other reasons) I assessed a high probability he'd start a war in Iran. When Trump won, I really hoped I'd be wrong. Sadly I wasn't.
While there's a bit of justice (and perhaps pleasure too) in seeing Trump and certain neocons being humiliated and taken down a peg, I have zero confidence in the vast majority of the Dems that have been voted into office. So as with prior election years, I'm just trying to remain focused on improving my life and those around me.
I do have hope though... from what I can tell it seems this election was more of a middle-finger to Trump and not so much an endorsement of his opponents getting elected. Perhaps that means the American populace isn't yet hopelessly taken in by eat-the-rich and socialist messaging...

Unfortunately, they aren't aware enough to vote 3rd party, but I haven't seen how many just refused to vote at all, and I know of others who, like me, stepped away entirely, even if not for the same reasons.
