could it be my generation got fucked by the lies our parents told us and can't afford the loan now to get one bc of student debts and the facts that why should we buy a $180k home that now sits on the market for $420k
couldn't be that just like in 07 speculation nd assholes destoryed the market
and the ppl who actually buy homes to live in them decided its just cheaper to rent
Im not sure how it is in the US - but in the UK the % increase in house prices is incredibly higher than the increase in wages.
The two go hand in hand, there was always going to come a time when the imbalance would become too much!
