I just spent 5min checking out what is going on and I see multiple posts, getting huge amounts of attention making a case to #west about why he should be building a platform on #hive rather than buying #parler.
Why the fuck are "we" as a community inviting anti-Semites to contribute to this community. Are you trying to make it a hate filled cesspool of the worst in society? Is that what you stand for?
Is the goal to become the next 8chan or kiwifarms?
Because that is what a normie like I see when these posts are liked with "real" money, because that's how this platform works remember, you like the things with the $hivepower that you have which transfers REAL MONEY.
So you are taking your hard earned HP and backing posts that are inviting people (that happen to have a lot of FIAT in the bank) that want to see an entire people killed for what reason?
He hasn't been de-platformed
Fist, Ye hasn't been "silenced" he will still sell millions of dollars in product, be able to get an interview on "the most watched cable channel" and in fact reach billions of people.
Hive doesn't need these celebrity assholes, hive needs to be a welcoming place for EVERYONE. Hive shouldn't be a tolerant place for idiots, and when those idiots are here and have the HP to downvote anyone that doesn't agree with them, is that censorship?
Remember the #sbi debacle
I've been around long enough to remember when a whale here was downvoting every post of every person that sponsored #sbi. In fact they drew a legion of other users (or maybe bots) to do the same thing. That wasn't "censorship" it was just the fact that someone with wealth was able to crush the spirits and hopes of others that were just trying to generate an income on this fucking platform.
You draw over some fucking #magats and this community will either die, or split.

For now I will walk away for a bit and then decide if I want to cross-post here. I have posted a few times that I see a lot of great potential in #hive and #web3 in general, but as long as people continue to only look at the money like its the fucking 80s its going to die. I will spend my energy and time on mastodon
