I think trust and reputation (not the score) are easier to check on Hive. They are hard to win and easy to lose. If people want investment in their project then they need to show they can be trusted. That said, we have had people go rogue, but that is fairly rare.
Creating a copy-cat app is an easy option, but it may still not get you users. I've still not used AI tools, but it seems the entry bar for development is pretty low. Running a site will still need some work to keep it running and secure.
I've had someone messaging me about getting delegation so they can onboard people. I have said that they need to prove that they can bring in users who will not cheat the system and will stick around. That can take time. They only needed RC so couldn't earn from it. I gave some, but they need to build broader support. That comes from showing results rather than just begging in Discord.
