Today is Monday and i want to share this recipe to all of you guys . I just do my own recipe and i call it a fruit cake
Ingredients
125g butter
2 eggs
1/3 cup sugar
1 cup flour (all purpose)
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 cup milk
Pinch salt
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon lemon zest
Directions
In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder and salt until combined.
In another bowl, beat butter & sugar til light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, scraping down the bowl as needed. Beat in the lemon juice & zest.
Beat in the flour mixture in 3 batches, alternating with the milk, beginning and ending with flour, until just smooth.
Bake until the cake is lightly golden on top and a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean, 20 to 25 minutes.
