SINDHI STYLE CURRY !

HELLO STEEMIT FAMILY, We all love food and somewhere we all have our favorite dishes too. Being a Punjabi, I love food, eating as well as cooking. I would love to share some of our Punjabi cuisines, but today I would love to share my favorite Sindhi specialty - Sindhi Curry With Rice. It has a lot of flavor and spice in this tangy dish. I have lot of Sindhi friends where I love eating Curry Rice but now with experience and sincerity, I too can cook it as good as them.......... I just hope you guys would love it too..... please do inform if you made and loved it too...........

Preparation Time - 20-25 mins

INGREDIENTS

4 tsp Gram flour
4 tsp oil
3 potatoes medium size
100 Grams Cauliflower
1 Drumstick
10-12 Lady Finger
10-12 Cluster beans
2 Medium size Brinjal
Coriander leaves
5-6 Curry leaves
4 Green chilies
4 Tomatoes
2 tsp Tamarind pulp
salt to taste , red chili powder1/2 tsp, turmeric powder 1/4 tsp,
Aesofitada 1/4 tsp, Cumin seeds 1/4 tsp, Fenugreek seeds 1/4 tsp
4 Cups of water

METHOD-


Heat oil in a pan, add gram flour and keep stirring till it is dark brown in color, now add 2 cups of water till smooth.
Add rest of water to it. Now add all the vegetables that are cut in lengthwise i.e lady finger, drumstick, brinjal, cauliflower and finally add potatoes cut into big cubes. Add tomato puree, salt, red chili powder, turmeric ,curry leaves, green chilies to it and keep stirring. Now after the vegetables are cooked, add soaked tamarind pulp, mix well. Sprinkle fresh coriander leaves on it. Cook for 2-3 mins now and close the flame. Now finally in a small pan, heat oil, add cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds, and asafetida and allow the seeds to splutter and add over the final curry.

Here you go, the Sindhi curry is ready, serve it hot with Steam Rice to get the taste of your lifetime.
