Pasig City is known for three things: the Ortigas business district, the Kapitolyo foodie-experience, and well, the daily heavy traffic.
Few know of this 8-hectare gem, the Rainforest Adventure Experience (RAVE) Park in Francisco Legaspi Avenue Maybunga, which has been established since 1977.
Open Mondays to Saturdays at 8:00AM to 5:00PM, the park offers a variety of activities at zero to minimal cost.
The park is home to a Butterfly House, a Mini-Train, a Mini-Zoo, the aMaze Garden and a spectacular Flower Field.
Boating, swimming in its mini Olympic-sized pool, jogging on its scenic oval, have tons of kiddie fun on its playground, have an intense tennis match on its courts and enjoying a mild or rigorous work out in its fitness center are some additional offerings of the park.
Butterfly House
A spacious greenhouse hosts a variety of butterflies.
Enjoy a walk with these flying pretties for a company.
They are not shy, as they will sometimes rest on your shoulder or hand.
But they particularly dislike being chased.

Mini-Zoo
Every kid loves the zoo!
The animals, the pets and the birds too!
This zoo as small as it is
Is packed with small and large animals alike.
Birds and fishes and goats and crocs
Are but some of the wildlife you can say "Hi!" to.
The mini-zoo will surely be a hit
For the young ones, and young at heart indeed!
aMaze Garden
Rafa recently watched the Harry Potter movies series and was quite glad to be in a maze.
It did give that Goblet of Fire final challenge feel.
Bring a compass if you may, to help you find your way
For in this place many dead-ends you'll surely face.
Prepare to be amazed... by the maze.
Flower Fields
Eye-popping colors and sweet scents
Will surround and make you content
A piece of beautiful heaven it is,
That attracts the eyes, the nose, and the bees!
Boating
Pedal all your worries away,
Be careful not to rock the boat anyway.
The fresh smelling water, though a bit murky it may be
Takes away the city stress in the body!
Boating is fun, aye aye it is!

This is great! Absolutely great! It's kind of fun thing to spend with nature and if I'll look on the pricing, I will fully enjoy the experience! That's a classy but cheap park. We have a lot in Cebu too but I haven't experienced much of it. Anyways, I had once last June and it was totally fun. You may want to look over :P
