There are people who come into our lives and simply become a part of it.
And then there are those who have been there since the very beginning, growing up alongside us, sharing every stage of life and becoming an inseparable part of our own story.
Today, I want to dedicate this post to my sister, Noelia.
Noelia was born extremely prematurely, at just six months of pregnancy.
From the very beginning, she had to face something no child should ever have to go through. Her birth was surrounded by uncertainty, and back then, they even said that she probably wouldn't make it to the age of 12.
But life had other plans.
And it certainly did.
Today, Noelia is 37 years old.
Yes, 37.
That little girl who, according to the doctors at the time, might not even make it to 12 went past 12, past 20, past 30...
And she's still here. ❤️
And I've been lucky enough to watch her grow.
Because we've lived together practically our entire lives.
We've shared childhood, adolescence, good times, difficult times, laughter, arguments, and all those little everyday moments that may seem insignificant at the time, but over the years become some of the most important memories we have.
And there is someone else in this story whom I can't leave out.
Estefanía.
Estefanía and Noelia have always been very close.
In fact, I always joke that they're almost twins. 😅
And even though they weren't born on the same day, there is something that connects them in a very special way.
Estefanía is the one who takes care of Noelia and stays by her side every day.
And that deserves to be recognized too.
Because taking care of someone isn't simply about being there. It means patience, time, dedication, helping, protecting, and staying by their side even on the days when nobody else sees all the effort behind it.
For so many years, Estefanía has been an essential part of Noelia's life.
And today, the three of us continue to share our lives together.
We live in what used to be our parents' home.
A house full of memories.
He couldn't forget his pet 👇🏻😄
Our parents are no longer here, but somehow, we're still filling this house with life.
We're still sharing moments, still creating our own stories and, in a way, we're still those three siblings who grew up together.
Life has changed.
So have we.
But one thing remains:
we're still together.
And maybe that's why, when I look toward the future, there's something I'd really like to make happen.
I'd love for Noelia to eventually have her own space on Ecency.
A place where she can share things, express herself, show a little bit of her world and become part of a community.
Of course, she wouldn't have to do it alone.
She would have Estefanía by her side, guiding and supporting her just as she has done for so many years, and she'd have our support too.
Because I believe everyone has a story worth telling.
And Noelia's story deserves to be heard.
A story that began with someone saying she might not make it to 12...
and that today continues at 37 years old.
Maybe one day we'll look back and say:
"Remember when they said she wouldn't make it to 12?" 😅
And we'll simply smile.
Because she made it.
And she's still here.

And as long as we have the chance, we'll keep walking this road together.
