PHYSICAL ATTRACTION is a great reason to want to be in a relationship with someone but MENTAL ATTRACTION is what keeps the communication which in turn keeps the relationship.
The physical attraction you have for someone will gradually die when anytime you are with them it feels like you guys have nothing to talk about.
No matter how much you both are having sex. If, you are not communicating, you are not building anything. You are just wasting your time and acquiring sexual experiences you don't need.
Communication is not "𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗲 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗸" but the content of 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗸 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁. So you can be in a sexual relationship for 3yrs and still not know the person because you guys never really built anything together or talked important things.
Same goes for married partners. After 4yrs, you still don't know the dreams, passion and vision of your partner?
It's not about having an epic weekend, See, anybody that you can't see yourself living with during the week should not be an option for marriage.
Have you met beautiful women that you can't have a conversation with?
Have you seen tall dark and handsome men that you can't connect with ?

I loved your post! I certainly spent 7 years with a couple, and I thought the attraction was all over the place. But I realized that I never knew him, because in relationships you need to know the other through showing your feelings, your dreams, even your fears. ....
