RE: The evolution of Adam - Partaking of the fruit and feeling naked

I often wonder If the 'snake' is a positive entity who came to free the minds of souls trapped in biologically manipulated vessels unable to connect to the true creator.

Polarity is a catalyst for growth. You know what you want by knowing what you don't want.

Sort:

Lucifer symbolized by the serpent sought to thwart the plan of God, just as he did in inspiring wicked men to crucify the Saviour. In all these and other actions, his meddling is foreknown, catered for in the plan and ultimately turned to enable the requisite purpose.

Choice is only possible when you have multiple diverse options.

What if, the story of creation was tinted to portray a 'creator/God' who manipulated the first humans & their environment so that they did not have innate access to the true creator/God. And this work was mixed into the true creator's story, with the 'false creator/God' being written of as the True creator and instructing them not to 'eat the fruit of knowledge' as this would trigger a re-connection to the true God. And the serpent was actually something entirely different who came to set their minds free and open them back up to the polarity's that shapes the path back to the true creator.

This idea was first presented by the gnostics who were one of (if not the very first) Christian heresies to be condemed by the Church. So I wouldn't dedicate too much thought power to that one. You can read all about it with a quick Google search.

Also, if you read between the lines, the entire Genesis account of the first humans' relation to God and their environment portrays a father bringing up his beloved children. Adam recieved everything from his Father including his perfect companion. God can do all things, yet he always had Adam present to cooperate in the work he was doing; just like any good father would suffer through his child's first attempts to use tools or cook a meal, drive a car, etc.
