There are people who are lost, and this season is an excellent opportunity for them to come to know the love and peace found in the Lord Jesus Christ.
13 After they had gone, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream and said, “Get up, take the child and his mother, and flee to Egypt, and remain there until I tell you; for Herod is going to search for the child to kill him.” 14 So he got up, took the child and his mother during the night, and left for Egypt, 15 and remained there until the death of Herod. This was to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: “Out of Egypt I called my son.”
16 When Herod realized that he had been tricked by the wise men, he was furious, and he gave orders to kill all the boys in Bethlehem and its vicinity who were two years old or under, according to the time he had learned from the wise men. 17 Then what was spoken through the prophet Jeremiah was fulfilled:
18 “A voice was heard in Ramah,
“Woeing and great mourning,
Rachel weeping for her children;
“she refused to be comforted, because they are no more.”

In this day and age, if we take a moment to observe those around us, we will realize that many are enjoying the obvious, the secular, the superficial. They greatly enjoy days off, holidays, and so on. But there are also some who interpret this moment as a symbol of the birth of Jesus, the Savior of the world, while others fail to see this and lose sight of it.
This is not new. Let us remember that at the time of Jesus' birth, King Herod was furious when the Magi did not reveal the location of the birth of the Messiah, the King of the Jews. But he simply wanted to be in control of everything since he was to be dethroned. In some ways, perhaps this resembles what happens in some hearts today; some reject Jesus Christ for fear of relinquishing control and dominion over their lives and hearts to someone else.
18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth.
Romans 1:18
Rejecting or resisting the call of the Lord Jesus Christ is not simply a trivial decision that has no importance. Let us remember that those who do so are hindering the true voice from being revealed. There are people who do not want to expose themselves to the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. Even so, we must be very clear that salvation is not limited to someone reluctant to the Lord; on the contrary, the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ is available to all humanity. Let's not forget one of the key figures in the Bible's New Testament, the Apostle Paul, who at one time was a staunch persecutor of the church. He not only persecuted but also destroyed, killed, and murdered those who did so. After his conversion, he became one of the greatest witnesses to the love of Jesus.
19 And this is the condemnation: that the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their deeds were evil.
John 3:19
There are people who have lost or do not know the power that exists in Jesus. In this Christmas season, it is important to take the opportunity to reach out to those who are lost or who do not know or understand the meaning of Jesus' resurrection. But there is an absolute truth: no one is beyond the reach of salvation, beyond the call of Jesus. That is why we need to take a moment and pray for those we know who do not know the Lord. May we be that instrument this Christmas, bringing him the greatest gift of his life, which is salvation through Jesus.

Hay personas que están perdidos y en esta época es una excelente oportunidad para que lleguen a conocer el amor y la paz en ese señor Jesucristo.

16 Herodes entonces, cuando se vio burlado por los magos, se enojó mucho, y mandó matar a todos los niños menores de dos años que había en Belén y en todos sus alrededores, conforme al tiempo que había inquirido de los magos. 17 Entonces se cumplió lo que fue dicho por el profeta Jeremías, cuando dijo:
18 Voz fue oída en Ramá,
Grande lamentación, lloro y gemido;
Raquel que llora a sus hijos,
Y no quiso ser consolada, porque perecieron.

En esta época si nos ponemos a contemplar a nuestro alrededor las personas cercanas nos vamos a dar cuenta que muchas personas están disfrutando de lo evidente, de los secular, de lo superficial. Se disfruta mucho de los días en que no se trabaja, de la fiesta, etc. pero también hay algunos que interpretan este momento como símbolo del nacimiento de Jesús el Salvador del mundo mientras que hay otros que no contemplan esto y lo pierden de vista.
Esto no es nuevo, recordemos en la época del nacimiento de Jesús, el rey Herodes se enojó mucho cuando los magos no revelaron la ubicación del nacimiento del mesías, el rey de los judíos. Pero simplemente quería tener el control de todo ya que tenía ser destronado, en algún sentido quizás esos asemeje lo que sucede en algunos corazones en esta época, algunos rechazan a Jesucristo por miedo a ceder el control y el dominio de su vida y su corazón a alguien más.
18 Porque la ira de Dios se revela desde el cielo contra toda impiedad e injusticia de los hombres que detienen con injusticia la verdad;
Romanos 1:18
Rechazar o resistir al llamado del señor Jesucristo no es simplemente una decisión leve que no tiene importancia, recordemos que quienes lo hacen están dificultando voz True yendo que la verdad se manifieste. Hay personas que no quieren exponerse a la luz por temor a que sus obras sean expuestas, aún así debemos tener bien en claro que la salvación no es limitada para alguien reacio al señor, todo lo contrario, la gracia del señor Jesucristo está dispuesta para toda la humanidad. Sin ir más lejos recordemos uno de los personajes claves de la biblia en el nuevo estamento, el apóstol Pablo, quien en un momento era un fiel perseguidor de la iglesia, no solamente perseguía sino que destruía, mataba y asesinaba a quienes lo hacían, después de su conversión fue uno de los más grandes testigos del amor de Jesús.
19 Y esta es la condenación: que la luz vino al mundo, y los hombres amaron más las tinieblas que la luz, porque sus obras eran malas.
Juan 3:19
Hay personas que han perdido o no conoce el poder que existe en Jesús, en esta época de Navidad es importante aprovechar para llegar a aquellos que están perdidos o quienes no conocen o no comprende el significado de la resurrección de Jesús. Pero hay una verdad absoluta que es que nadie está fuera del alcance de la salvación, fuera del llamado de Jesús. Es por eso que necesitamos tomar un momento y orar por aquellos que conocemos y sabemos que no conocen el señor. Que seamos nosotros ese instrumento en esta Navidad quienes le acerquen el regalo más grande de su vida que consiste en la salvación por medio de Jesús.
