Today I would like to look at Psalm 119 verse 9
9)How can young people keep their lives pure?
By obeying your commands.
This is one of my favorite verses, and it is not only applicable to young people, it is true for all of us. We must keep our lives pure by obeying God commands as in His word, the bible. To do this we will need to know, what God's commands are, and we will only know this by reading His word.
Have a wonderful day.
Very true. Sadly the Bible is being removed from view all over our country.
What country is that?
The United States, I am sad to say.
That is very sad indeed. Thank you for the comment.
God...(Allah Bapa... In my own language) listen your prayer... I happy now, many steemians leave comment on this posting. Nice ! :)
Thank you very much @happyphoenix
God is the meaning of Life... You used the word "obeying God"... I really don't feel that God wants us to OBEY Him in that sense... He gave us free choice and wants us to make good decisions... He advises us how to do good things... The Ten Commandments should have been called the Ten Advisements... He gave us free choice because He didn't want to create Puppets... Thanks for reading... @pocketechange

That is a wonderful verse. Unfortunately too many people think that the commandments were given to control us and keep us in line. In truth, the commandments were written by a loving God to show us how to be truly happy. Think about how great our lives would be if we could keep the commandments in both mind and body.
The commandments is actually a guide for us to live by, it shows us the way God wants us to live. We are free because Jesus died for our sins. We cannot be saved by our works.
I totally agree!
