Today I would like to look at Galatians 5 verse 22 to 26

22)But the Spirit produces love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
23)humility, and self-control. There is no law against such things as these.
24)And those who belong to Christ Jesus have put to death their human nature with all its passions and desires.
25)The Spirit has given us life; he must also control our lives.
26)We must not be proud or irritate one another or be jealous of one another.

The Spirit causes certain characteristics in people, all of these characteristics can be found in Jesus Christ. There is only one way to bear the fruit of the Spirit in our lives, and that is to be one in Jesus Christ. We must follow Jesus in the example He has set for us. That can only happen if you know Him intimately.

The Spirit is the one that let us believe in Jesus Christ, thus it is He that causes us to receive eternal life. He also show us the way, that God wants us to take.

Have a wonderful day.

Thank you, Galatians is a wonderful book, the teachings of Paul are some of my favorite as people even say they think Paul and I share a lot of the same characteristics in personality.

Thank you for sharing my friend,

Thanks for sharing! That passage is one I highlighted in my Bible. We had a church service that covered Galatians 5 last summer. God is awesome!
