15)The way of the [arrogant] fool [who rejects God’s wisdom] is right in his own eyes, But a wise and prudent man is he who listens to counsel.
We must not think we know everything, we should listen to advice from other people, it is only a fool that thinks he is always right.

One of the importance in our day to day, is to listen to the advice they give us, I have run into people who think they are owners of the truth and when things do not go as they say they do not even have the humility to admit that they were wrong. that is why it is very well said "he who does not hear advice does not go far".
