RE: Let's Talk about God: YOUR Most Important Dilemma

in #religion6 years ago (edited)

Thank you for your thoughts Noah!

I find it quite comical when ANY fellow human being (referring to Thomas Paine here, not you Noah) elects to tell us what to do.
As though ANY human being has the wherewithal of critical self-knowledge to then expand beyond themselves and presume to know enough about another to tell them precisely what that person should believe in.

I do appreciate the transparency of these wolves in ill-fitting sheep's clothing, however; for I can then shift my focus towards determining their purpose for attempting to foist those ideologies upon others.

I am concerned for our future.

The last time a celebrated genius proclaimed that "God is dead" (Nietzsche), 40 years later we had absolute social disaster with many millions suffering horrific deaths; and terrible suffering if they survived...

Everything that Nietzsche had predicted actually happened!

But you can't fit that many words on a t-shirt and still look cool.

Atheism is very en vogue at the moment.

North America (along with the rest of the world) is overdue for a financial reckoning that should have been sorted out ten years ago; the can's been kicked down the road and now it's even worse...
I'll expand on that, with evidence, at a later time.

Jordan Peterson is an intellectual Amber Alert beacon sounding the alarm to a largely deaf population.

The truths about life are hard and unfair, and it seems as though most people would prefer to live in a fairytale...

That's a harsh statement, but it's our own damn fault. More on that later 😉

Thanks for your comment Noah!
