Laziness is described as inactivity resulting from a dislike of work. A person is regarded as lazy when that person is idle,or in the habit if looking for the easy way out of daily challenges of life. if you prefer taking short cut to success without minding that it is morally wrong, you are Lazy.
The Bible makes it clear that because the Lord ordained work for man, Laziness is a sin. Proverbs 6:6 advises us to go and study the ant, consider their ways and be wise, because ants are very orderly and busy by nature.
Unfortunately, laziness is a lifestyle for some people but a temptation for all. The book of Proverbs is especially filled with wisdom concerning laziness and warnings to lazy people. Proverb 21:25 tells us that a lazy person hates work "the desire of the slothful killeth him;for his hands refuse to work" And proverbs 12:24 clearly tells us the end in store for the lazy.
It says "The hand of the diligent shall bear rule; but the slothful shall be under tribute" Being a believer is no license to have a lazy life. The Lord Jesus was a carpenter while He walked the earth, but it did not stop him from doing the will of God. As a christian, if you want to rule and be on top, then you must have something you are doing diligently.
