V-Care Project; A Good Classroom to be taught how to shun excusses. Lesson taught by a 14 year old Senior Sunday School Teacher at the Village of Luom.

in #religious7 years ago

It was a bright sunny day in the village of Luom. Upon the arrival of the Village Care (V - Care) Team, from the Apostolic Church - Ghana, Ashaiman Central English service, we began to interact and share fellowship with some of the inhabitants of the Village who were present at the arrival scene.

Sometime later, we joined in their service and for me, the captivating moment of the service was when we were invited to lead them through a time of praises. The atmosphere was suddenly charged up with Psalms and Hymns of praises unto the Almighty God.

You can imagine how powerful this was as it was led by the Gospel Jama Group. It was interesting and awesome to behold great and onaapoforic dancing moves akin to what Mantse David displayed.

After service, we proceeded to the cloth sharing and donation. Which hundreds of adults and children coming around to be blessed with atleast a set of cloth and wears. It was heart warming to see how excited the people were because the felicities and ecstasies they felt was really expressed on their faces. Truth be told, it was a great experience to give and rekindle someone's hope and encouraged not to give up in life as we muttered some words of encouragement to them alongside.

The above not withstanding, I for one believe a major reason why we went to the village, was for us to be taught and learn this one moral lesson. Amazingly, this moral lesson's was taught by one young 14 year old boy who had spent most of his life teaching and mentoring the young kids in the church at the Sunday school level. Guess what! He was the senior Sunday school teacher for the Apostolic church in Luom. Yes! you read right, the 14 year old boy was their senior Teacher.

I'm tempted to ask you a rhetorical question of 'how old are you?' at the time of reading this write up. In as much as I'm not interested in the figures of your age, I'm only interested in drawing your attention to what you've been doing for the Lord at your current age.

I think that young boy is done and doing so well by Grace and the Lord continuously bless him. His acts of service, I believe is worthy of emulation and that is why I encourage and challenge you to find something to do in the vine yard of the Master.

Only two thoughts would come to mind upon reading this..one is to continue to do more for the Master and the other is for you to begin if you have nothing doing in the vine yard of the master. The onus of making one of the above choices obviously lies on you.

However, no matter how blur working for the Master's benefits are covered with the concepts and philosophies of people such as I am shy, I can't stand before a large crowd, some people are only due to do some things, etc.
One truth stands..and that is, your works shall follow you. This is confirmed by Prophet Kakra Baiden's vision of heaven and many others who asserts, it is your works and what you do for the master, that are used as raw materials for building your mansion in heaven.

To cap it all, let's emulate the good acts of that 14 year old Senior Teacher in Luom whose work for the master is seeing many come to the saving knowledge of Christ and the Lord would bless you and consequently build for ourselves, great mansions in heaven.
